As we did read a report about the "Dive with Sharks" opportunity at Underwater World Sentosa, we had to give it a try. The Aquarium itself is quite impressive, if you get there early in the morning, it is a very nice experience.
We had some time before our program started, so we took a look around. After that, a very charming instructor took us to the "backstage area" of the tanks and could enter one of the big tanks. Cownose rays behaved like dogs and asked for shells all the time. The sharks (black tip reef sharks) were easygoing, but their skin was very interesting. The moray felt like old thin leather, but the rays reminded us of some sort of firm jelly. But the feeling was beyond words, I didn't touch such a surface before.
If you're in Singapore, check out Underwater World, it's worth a visit.
